Hi ..I am planning my trip next year to come to Disneyland and the Disney California long should I give each park to do things and to do it again ....I see there are 5 day tickets available, are they for both parks or separate.

Thanks for checking in with the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Linda!
How very exciting to plan a trip to the Disneyland Resort, where you will absolutely fall in love with the sunny Southern California weather and enjoy the Magic of Disneyland, Walt Disney's original theme park which opened in 1955. Disney's California Adventure is a fabulous place highlighting some very iconic state landmarks with awesome attractions, shows and dining options along the way!
In my opinion, I would dedicate three full days to explore both Parks.
You can start by spending a day at Disneyland, where guests love to ride a horse drawn streetcar down Main Street U.S.A to Sleeping Beauty's Castle. If you make your way to Adventureland, a Dole Whip will surely be the tastiest of cold treats. Then in New Orleans Square you can dine at the Blue Bayou Restaurant overlooking the Pirates of the Caribbean river stream.
On the second day, you can journey into Disney's California Adventure, you'll love The Little Mermaid-- Ariel's Undersea Adventure and the incredible performance of Frozen-- Live at the Hyperion!
The third day could be to visit both parks in one day and catch up on whatever shows, shopping or sightseeing you couldn't get done the previous days.
Now, the 5 day tickets can be used for each Park individually or you can purchase the Park Hopper option for one or all of your tickets, which gives you the ability to enter both Parks in a single day.
Don't forget that you can also dedicate an entire day to shop and dine at the Downtown Disney District and explore and relax at any of the Disneyland Resort Hotels!
    I hope this helps!
