Hi. We are planning a trip for next June. What tour or special experience would you recommend for a seven year old? We have one picked for his younger sister already.

    Hey,  Natalie-

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I've got two great suggestions for you that I think boys would love.

Step into the imagination of Walt Disney and his love of trains with a choo-choo-riffic tour or get our your green thumb with a tour of Epcot's Living with the Land attractions.

Disney's The Magic Behind Our Steam Trains Tour gives you three hours of railroad adventure. Learn about Walt Disney’s train passion and how these fantastic iron engines work, go backstage and see the roundhouse where the trains and Walt Disney World Monorails “sleep” and ride the rails around Magic Kingdom Park.

Interested in how the world works then Behind the Seeds is a magnificent one hour tour. Greenhouses, hydroponics and a fish farm are all included in this tour that takes you backstage of Living with the Land. My favorite is seeing the giant melons and the Peanut Butter Tree.

Both of these tours will dazzle you 7-year-old's imagination.

Disney Dad Tip: In addition to the tours, I would recommend scheduling a Character Dining experience for both kids. This is the best way to get a great meal and meet some of you favorite Disney characters.

Natalie, enjoy making many Magical Memories.
