We are planning a trip over New Years Eve, but I have heard that the Magic Kingdom usually reaches capacity and closes sometime on New Year's Eve. Is that correct? If so, what time has it typically closed in the past?

    Hey Amy!

The Parks do usually reach capacity and must close to any more Guests coming in on New Years Eve!

Most people who really want to be in the Parks when the year turns over arrive early in the morning and are prepared to spend the entire day waiting for the big moment! I've heard of the Parks reaching capacity around lunch time and early afternoon.

If you do arrive early be sure to bring all of the jackets or other layers that your family will need once the sun goes down and the temperatures drop.
