Hello! Planning a trip on mid November going with husband and 2 toddlers (1yo and almost 3yo) first time for my kids, my question is, how can we have the best time there? Which rides can my kids do? How does the rider switch work? Thank you very much

    This is Fantasmic! Samantha!

You and your family are going to visit The Happiest Place on Earth during such a magical time. Your whole family will be able to experience exciting new attractions, enjoy entertaining shows, and savor delicious dining choices.

The Disneyland Resort has many attractions that can be enjoyed by the entire family together. Your little Mouseketeers will love flying high with Dumbo the Flying Elephant in Fantasyland, dreaming of honey on The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh in Critter Country, and expressing themselves on Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind in Pixar Pier. The whole family can even sling webs with Spider-Man on Worldwide Engineering Brigade, opening Summer 2020 in Avengers Campus.

For attractions with height restrictions, take advantage of Rider Switch service. Start by making arrangements with a Cast Member at the entrance to an attraction that features this service to add Rider Switch entitlements to your theme park tickets. Then one parent can stay with non-riders while the rest of your party experiences the attraction. After the first group returns and there is now someone to watch the little ones, the first parent may enter the attraction with a potentially reduced wait time, usually using the Disney FASTPASS return queue.

I love the family entertainment options at the Disneyland Resort. There’s the Broadway-caliber Frozen – Live at the Hyperion. Get up and dance at the Disney Junior Dance Party! My family loves watching the parades, including A Christmas Fantasy Parade that may return for the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort. Our favorite show to enjoy with little children is Mickey and the Magical Map.

At mealtime, you’ll enjoy many delicious options. My family loves the variety of options at Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta in Disney California Adventure Park. We can’t get enough of the Fried Pickles at Carnation Cafe. And you can’t beat a fantastic meal with some of your favorite Disney characters. Our favorite Character Dining Experience is at Goofy’s Kitchen.

I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Samantha!
