Hi! Planning trip in May with 2 yr old and trying to decide between BC Villas, Bay Lake Tower, or Poly. Lots of MK time so the monorail would be nice, but the proximity to EPCOT to BC is great! Is pool at poly worth no suite? Is BC Pool worth no monorail?

    Hi Emily,

This is a tough question!  Both resorts are great.  Beach Club is my all-around favorite resort.  The pool is amazing, and you can't beat the location -- you can walk to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

However, given the fact that you are traveling with a two year old and will be spending the majority of your time at Magic Kingdom, I would go with the Polynesian for this trip.  As much as I love the Beach Club, I don't like traveling on the bus from that resort - it makes several stops.  The monorail is wonderful, especially when your little one is tired and you just want to get back to the resort for a nap.  The pool area is much smaller than that at the Beach Club, but it's very nicely themed, and I'm sure it will still seem huge to a 2 year old.  The beach area at the Polynesian is a nice way to spend a quiet afternoon or evening -- you'll have a great view of the fireworks.

Staying at the Polynesian puts you in a great location to enjoy some of the most popular character dining experiences on property.  'Ohana is located in your resort, but Chef Mickey's and 1900 Park Fare are just a quick monorail ride away.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!
