    We are planning a trip in May 2014, this time for my son who will almost be 5. He is obsessed with Toy Story and Cars, therefore we plan to visit Hollywood Studios. Do we need a full day at this park? I have never been.

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Kate!

    Disney's Hollywood Studios (DHS) is one of our favorite parks! You could easily spend a day there depending on what you want to do. You could also spend part of the day there, take a swim break and then come back later for Fantasmic!

    Here are some attractions I think your son would enjoy:

    * Disney Junior - Live on Stage!
    * Muppet*Vision 3D
    * Beauty & The Beast - Live on Stage
    * Disney Junior Play 'n Dine at Hollywood & Vine (Characters from Disney Junior appear at breakfast & lunch - call 407-WDW-DINE for reservations)
    * Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure
    * Toy Story Midway Mania! (Grab a FASTPASS early)
    * Voyage of the Little Mermaid
    * Jedi Training Academy (register 1st thing for this)
    * Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show
    * Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular!
    * Fantasmic!

    There are lots of character meet & greets that kids love (i.e., Lightning McQueen, Tow Mater, Incredibles, Wreck It Ralph, Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Sully, Jake & more).

    There are some thrill rides that you may enjoy and you could use the Ride Switch option for them:
    * Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
    * Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith

    While these aren't the only things DHS has to offer, its a great place to start with your family. We usually set aside a whole day for this park and play it by ear. Depending on the crowd level and show schedules, we sometimes take a break and other trips stay the whole day and end our evening with Fantasmic!

    Please feel free to visit with all of your questions. We're hEAR to help!

    Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
