We are planning a trip for May 2017. My son will be 18 months old by then. Will there be anything that he can ride? I was thinking Small World, the carousel, things like that....

    Hi Stephanie,

Walt Disney World has so many rides and attractions that are geared to guests of all ages, including infants and toddlers. My youngest daughter was not quite three months old on her first visit to Magic Kingdom and was there many times before her second birthday. Those are some of our family's best memories.

Your son will be able to enjoy any ride or attraction with you that is geared to guests of any height. At Magic Kingdom, that includes Dumbo the Flying Elephant, "it's a small world", Peter Pan's Flight and Under the Sea -- Journey of the Little Mermaid. You can find the full list of available attractions without height restrictions here.

To find the list at each theme park, go to the attractions list and sort it to show those that are for "Any Height."

My daughter loved visiting with the Walt Disney World characters at that age. Some children are shy or apprehensive around the costumed characters, however, so you will want to see how your son reacts. Some of our best times at that age, though, were watching her hug Winnie the Pooh and other favorites.
