Planning a trip for May 2012 at GF (yes, I'm a planner!). My family wants to sit for Breakfast and Dinner, but do a fast lunch. Would you recommend doing the deluxe (and "down grade" for lunch) or get the regular plan and pay for breakfast

    Hi Linda!

You are going to have an amazing trip to Walt Disney World in 2012, especially since you are staying in the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa!  The Deluxe Dining Plan is a whole lot of food with three sit down meals a day.  If you plan on eating at Counter Service meals for lunch, then paying for breakfast yourself and picking the Standard Dining Plan instead of the Deluxe Dining Plan should save you money.  On the other hand, if you plan on doing some Signature Dining Meals, Dinner Shows, or Character Meals that require two Table Service Credits, then the Deluxe Dining Plan would be better for you.

I hope that you have a magical vacation at the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
