    Cortney Asked

I am planning a trip for the 3rd through 7th of March with a 4 year old girl who is VERY into Disney Princesses (particularly Sleeping Beauty and Ariel). We will also have an infant in tow. Any tips/advice/must sees? Any advice is greatly appreciated!!

Hi, Cortney!  Your best chance to meet Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) and Ariel is at the Princess Storybook meals at Restaurant Akershus.  Meals there are offered at breakfast, lunch, and dinner and while no specific character is ever guaranteed, I have seen both of your daughter's favorite princesses there on numerous occasions.

You can also see some of the princesses at the Adventureland Veranda at the Magic Kingdom.  The good thing about going here is that there are usually multiple princesses in one location.  I find that especially with small children, it's better to wait in one line and see several characters than to have to wait in several lines to see one character.

Best advice - use your children as your guide as to when enough is enough.  I always found when my kids were young that bedtime always came a little bit earlier during a Walt Disney World vacation, and I made sure to make frequent stops during the day.  Even if we weren't grabbing a bite to eat, just time to play at the water sprouts in EPCOT or a little time at the Honey I Shrunk the Kids play area was a great respite from attraction lines.

I always keep drinks and snacks in a backpack. A few small toys to keep your four year old busy while waiting for shows or attractions is also a big help.

Must sees at this age - Disney Junior Live and Toy Story Midway Mania at Disney's Hollywood Studios; Buzz Lightyear, It's a Small World, and Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor at the Magic Kingdom; Kilimanjaro Safari and Rafiki's Planet Watch at Disney's Animal Kingdom; and Journey Into Imagination and some of the World Showcase performances at EPCOT.

If you need anything more specific, come back and talk to me!
