Planning a trip in March and wonder what kind of weather does the area have? and what are the best day to visit the MK and Epcot. we are visiting the first week of March and any helpful on enjoying ours first visit the the area. thanks

    Hi Danny!

March is a wonderful time of year to visit Walt Disney World!

The average high in March is 78 while the average low is 56. This weather is wonderful because it is still warm enough to enjoy the pools, especially because all of the pools at the Disney resorts are heated, but it isn't too hot yet.

I subscribe to touringplans dot com, which is an unofficial Disney site that provides detailed information on the crowd levels for a specific day, as well as any events that are planned. The site also provides touring plans to help you maximize your time at the parks. I think it is well worth the small fee to subscribe. That site can provide you with more information on the specific dates to enjoy Magic Kingdom and Epcot, but generally speaking, since Epcot is larger, it can handle crowds the best of any of the parks. Therefore, I visit Epcot on Saturdays or Fridays when the crowds are typically the highest. Magic Kingdom is best on a Sunday because many guests leave and/or depart on a Sunday, so the crowd levels are lower. Magic Kingdom is also great on a Wednesday or Thursday so you have a mid-week lower crowd level.

You will have an amazing first trip to Walt Disney World! The biggest tip I have for first timers is to make a list of your top five attractions or things you want to do each day of your trip. Then make a list of the "like to dos". Make it a goal to accomplish the top five, so you don't feel disappointed if you don't do everything. Disney World is so large that it is impossible to experience everything in one trip.

But if you make a list of the top five, you will be sure to have a magical visit without sacrificing what you really wanted to do.
