Hi planning a trip to Magic Kingdom this weekend. The issue is we have a 9 year old daughter that has Cerebral Palsy who needs diaper changes. She is 9 yrs old and is over 80 lbs. Where in the park can she be changed - not on a bathroom floor.

    Hi Michelle!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Planning a visit to Walt Disney World can be so magical, but sometimes those of us with kids with special needs and/or disabilities, it can get tricky. My youngest has a variety of disabilities that also has us seeking out specific restrooms everywhere we travel.

Walt Disney World thankfully has designated areas with large changing tables. The Baby Care Centers are always on my radar as it not only is a place for my son to use the facilities, but also a quiet retreat from an often loud day.

There are also many companion restrooms located throughout the parks, but we use the Baby Care Centers the most because we also try to avoid changes on the bathroom floor. Even though they appear to be designated only for families with younger children, when we visit there are often other special needs families in there with us and a cast member can help if you should need anything as well.

I hope this helps and let me know if you need anything else as you plan your visit!

    See you real soon!
