We are planning a trip in 2015. What is the least crowded & cheapest time of the year to attend the parks?

    Hi Wendy,

Thanks so much for your question. We are a frugal family that loves to visit the Happiest Place on Earth, so I'm always researching how we can have a magical time within our budget. The good news is, it's always possible!

While any time at Walt Disney World can have a good amount of Guests visiting the parks, I've found that the winter months like January and February are great times for those looking to beat the crowds. Keep in mind that it does get a bit crowded during the Walt Disney World marathon weekend in January, but I think that adds to the fun.

Another great time to visit is in August. It's pretty hot, yes, but usually you will yield some discounts on your stay, and the crowds will be minimal. October (except Columbus day weekend) and early December also have minimal crowds and great prices on Resort stays

I hope this answered your question, Wendy. If you have any more questions while planning your Walt Disney World vacation, please feel free to ask me at any time.

Have fun creating your magical trip and have a fantastical Disney day!
