We are planning a trip in late Sept 2012 when my daughter will have just turned 2. Any suggestions for the best place to stay? Any help would be appreciated. My parents will be traveling with us too, so we will have 5 in our group. Thanks,

    Hi Kyra!

With a very young child, I think you will be spending most of your time in the Magic Kingdom.  Thus I would look at a Magic Kingdom resort:  Grand Floridian, Polynesian, Contemporary Resort (includes Bay Lake Tower), Fort Wilderness, and the Wilderness Lodge.  The Grand Floridian, the Polynesian, and the Contemporary Resort are on the monorail line providing very easy access to both the Magic Kingdom and Epcot.  That will make it very easy to return to your hotel room for a nap or to just have a break!  The Polynesian is ideally suited if you think you will be spending a lot of time in the Magic Kingdom and Epcot; not only is it on the Magic Kingdom line, but it is within walking distance to the Transportation and Ticket Center where you can get on the Epcot monorail line.

The Polynesian and Grand Floridian have a few rooms with day beds, but I think it would probably be best to get two separate, but connecting rooms.  That will give you the most space.  Another option, however, is to stay in a Disney Deluxe Villa.  Bay Lake Tower and the Wilderness Lodge have villas and they have lots of room, depending on the size of the villa you get.  Both resorts are fabulous places to stay!

I hope this helps!  Write back if you have any more questions!
