Hi, I am planning a trip in January and will be taking my 5 year old daughter. Are the princess character dining worth it or will we be able to see them at select character meet and greet spots? Thanks!

    Hi Dave,

I absolutely love dining at Cinderella's Royal Table with my girls for several reasons. You get the chance to see 4-5 princesses all at once, while enjoying an enchanting meal upstairs in Cinderella Castle. The Castle itself is beautiful and there is just something very special being inside. Cinderella greets her guests in the lobby for a photo opportunity and her friends visit your table.

Personally, I am not a huge fan of the Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus. I simply prefer the food at Cinderella's Royal Table and dining inside Cinderella Castle.

While you can visit many of the Princesses at the Meet and Greet locations, you will burn up a lot of valuable vacation time waiting in all of those different lines. If you do choose to take this route instead, be sure to pick up a Times Guide when you first enter each park. Specific character Meet and Greet times and locations will be listed on there. Some Princesses can only be seen in the Magic Kingdom, like Rapunzel and Tiana. If lines are really long, you may want to try going during lunch hour, when the crowds tend to thin out a little.

Wishing you a wonderful vacation with your family. Please let me know if I can assist you further,
