I am planning a trip with my husband and our 3 year old, and my sister-in-law, her husband, and their 18 month old. What are the best resort options (delux) for this situation. We would like a multi room suite or at least adjoining rooms. Thanks

Hi Carlie! The Disney trip you are planning sounds like it will be fabulous. Making memories with your family will be with your forever.

All of the Disney Deluxe resorts will have suites to choose from. The first thing you will need to consider is the location you wish to be in. There are four Magic Kingdom area resorts that are all wonderful with three of them being located on the monorail. This makes it easy if you are in the Magic Kingdom and need to head back to the resort for nap time with the little ones. These three resorts are Contemporary, Polynesian, and Grand Floridian. The fourth resort close by is not on the monorail and that is the Wilderness Lodge.  There are three resorts located in the Epcot area and those are Yacht Club, Beach Club, and Boardwalk. I have used the family suites at the Beach Club and they are wonderful with living area, bedroom with king bed and bath/dressing area, and second bedroom with two queen beds and bath. There is plenty of room for cribs and roll-a-ways for the children.

All of these resorts can accommodate adjoining rooms. You will have two queen beds and bath in each with an inside door that opens to the other room. You would need to make this request when securing your reservation. They will do everything possible to grant this request but it is not guaranteed.

For the age of the children I would suggest you be in the Magic Kingdom area. Request Magic Kingdom views at any of the resorts and you can often see the fireworks from your balcony at night. As I mentioned all three resorts will have suite options and they vary so much in configuration as well as price. You might want to consider reserving one of the new Polynesian bungalows that sit over the water. They will all have two bedrooms and baths and living area and kitchenette.

It is a tough decision and comes down to your budget. But no matter where you decide I am sure you will have a magical vacation.
