I am planning a trip for me, my husband and our 2 year old. I am a real foodie and will want to try a few other the "higher-end" restaurants but wasn't sure if it was appropriate to bring our 2 year old along. What's your thoughts?

    Hi Alison,

One of my husband and my favorite activities at Disney World is eating!  We have visited many of the signature dining restaurants, and have almost always taken our two boys along.  We've been doing this since they were infants.  In fact, some of  the signature restaurants have some of the most amazing children's menus.  During our last visit to Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht Club, my kids got to assemble and then "paint" a white chocolate Mickey puzzle with strawberry, pineapple and chocolate sauce!  My six year old's favorite "mac n cheese" is at Jiko.  (It's no ordinary, from the box variety!) Some of our favorite restaurants are California Grille, Jiko and Artist Point.  No mater where you dine, children will be in the restaurant, and you should feel comfortable.

The only restaurant that doesn't have a children's menu and does not allow children under 10 to dine is Victoria and Albert's at the Grand Floridian.  This one restaurant truly does have an adult atmosphere. Other than this, feel free to bring your tot along in style!

    Have a wonderful trip!
