We are planning a trip to HS next week... and with the whole policy change, i wanted to know if you are still allowed to bring your Lightsaber into the park?? please let me know!! Thank you:)

    Hey, Jacqueline!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. There has been an awakening. Have you felt it? Kylo Ren and the First Order have occupied the Star Wars Launch Bay at Disney's Hollywood Studios. The Resistance is recruiting members both young and old. There is a special request for Jedi.

Jedi and padawans may bring their own lightsabers whether or not it was previously purchased at Walt Disney World Resort provided it is safe and follows all the Park Rules

I expect a huge surge of Resistance and First Order supporter this summer. In addition to the Star Wars activities at Disney's Hollywood Studios, Awaken Summer at Walt Disney World Resort will be an intergalactic success. Be prepared for a stellar summer.

Disney Dad Tip: If your padawan is ready to battle the Dark Side then hop on your transport and arrive at the gates of Disney’s Hollywood Studios 30 minutes before you will be allowed in the theme park. This includes Morning Extra Magic Hours. Sign ups for Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple takes place at the Indiana Jones Adventure Outpost. Each of the 20 daily shows takes around 30 younglings.

Please let me know if you have additional questions about your upcoming trip.

Jacqueline, may the Force be with you!
