We are planning a trip to the Grand Floridian in Dec 2010. Is it worth it to stay on the concierge level if we get the dinning plan? We have 4 adults, DD5 and twin DD20mos. Also, should we go the first week or the second week of Dec? Is one better?

Hi Christie!  Both December weeks will be about the same as far as crowds or weather so whatever works best for your family would be the one I would go with!

I would not stay on the concierge level and use any of the Dining Plans.  We have enjoyed the concierge lounges in past visits and the amount of food that is available for the guests would not merit you to pay for the dining plans.  You can eat a full and ample breakfast as they offer fresh fruits, pastries, cereals and juices daily.  During the mid day hours there are snacks and drinks out.  In the evening you will find several hot items, cheese and crackers, and other appetizer type selections.  Later in the evening you will be served a great assortment of sweets.

I recommend staying on the concierge level and not doing the dining plans.  If you desire to use the dining plans then it would not be cost effective to spend the money for the concierge services.
