We are planning a trip first week of January, 2016. Can you please tell me what the crowds are like during this time. We are bringing my my nieces and nephews for their first trip to Walt Disney World and want them to have an amazing experience.

Hi Tanya, thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
January is a very good time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. Usually the crowds are lower and you will find a nice weather. However, the first week of January is a bit different. Disney Parks are still busy and crowded, because people who came for spending the Holidays are still there.
My suggestion is that you make your dining reservations and FastPass+ selections in advance, and once you are there, I encourage you to arrive at the Parks before opening hour.
I usually check at easywdw.com and touringplans.com for crowd calendars. It always helps me a lot while planning my Disney vacation.
Hope this information helps. Let us know if you have further questions.
    Have a pixie-dusted day!
