We are planning a trip for the first week of February 2017. Are there any special events going on around then? And since it is the middle of winter, do you know of any attractions/shows that we'd missing out on while they are down for refurbishment?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jaimi. Thanks for stopping by with your questions for us.

At this time, there aren't any official announcements as to what exciting things Guests will be experiencing in February 2017. Right now, news found on Disney Parks Blog pertain mostly to Holiday festivities happening now until January 8, 2017. I suggest checking back on Disney Parks Blog towards the end of the year to see announcements for early 2017.

On the Disneyland Resort website, you can check out planned refurbishment occurring throughout both parks. On the daily calendar, you can select the dates you'll be at the parks and see which attractions and entertainment will be closed for refurbishment.

I hope this information is helpful for you, Jaimi. As your vacation gets closer, please feel free to visit us on the Panel again if you need further assistance in planning your magical trip to the Disneyland Resort.

    Have a splendid day,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

I am a wife and mother to 2 children, a 14 year old daughter and 9 year old son. I have always enjoyed going to Disneyland Resort as a child and now that I am a mother, I love watching my children experience Disneyland Resort through their eyes. It is a true delight seeing my daughter wear a ball gown walking side by side with Cinderella or my son jumping gleefully after he defeated Darth Maul in a light saber duel! Learn More About Kiki
