Hello!! We are planning a trip for the first week of February 2013. I see that Disney is hosting a UDA dance competition that first weekend. How much will that affect the crowd levels? Thanks for your help!!

    Hi Bobbi,

    Thank you for your question.

February usually has lower crowd volumes and even with the dance competition, I don't think you would be affected by it.  We have been at Walt Disney World when the cheerleading competitions were being held and did not notice a huge difference in volume, maybe just more guests wearing sparkle and glitter!!

Don't let the dance competition affect your decision, if February works best for you then go ahead with your planning. Walt Disney World is so big and there is so much to do that you will likely not notice it.

If you have any other questions, please let me know!

    Happy planning!
