Hi We are planning a trip in the fall. My mom has nerve damage in her feet following cancer treatment making walking difficult. She has a disabled parking pass here. She will push to enjoy but what suggestions do you have to make our trip easier for her

Greetings Sherri, from a fellow Disney enthusiast and Ontarian! How exciting that you're planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort in the fall.

Walt Disney World Resort strives to make vacations for all Guests positive, inclusive and memorable with Services for Guests with Disabilities which I find handy for my Autistic son. As well, Cast Members are always helpful, approachable and friendly with any concerns you may have. Feel free to use your Disabled Parking Pass when parking in the Theme Park lots for more convenience.

Once in the Theme Park head over, with your mom and all in your travel party to Guest Relations and speak to a Cast Member about Disney's Disability Access Service Card to see if your mother may benefit from its use.

Wheelchair and Electric Conveyance Vehicle Rentals are available for added Guest comfort and convenience throughout Walt Disney World Resort.

May I suggest you have a look at Disney's Guides for Guests with Disabilities for each Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park in advance of your visit. You can either download a printable format of this information or pick up a free guide at Guest Relations inside each Theme Park.

    Tip:
We often visit the First Aid Centers in each Theme and Water Park for a quick bit of rest.

We hope to assist you soon, Sherri.
