We are planning a trip this fall and would like to know if is a time that resort rates are discounted? I believe that it was referred to as off season?

    Hi Ralph!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Disney  Parks Moms Panel.

Rates are historically lower in the fall as the parks are less crowded then; the parks are generally crowded whenever older children are typically out of school and that is basically when the rates are higher too.  I suggest visiting the independent website MouseSavers.com.  There you can see the breakdown of costs throughout the year and you can see the latest discounts being offered by Disney.  At MouseSavers you will also find a historical database of what discounts Disney has released and when.  Just keep in mind that just because Disney has consistently released a particular discount in the past, there is no guarantee that Disney will do so again in the future.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
