We are planning a trip at the end of November and we are trying to decide if we'd like to try somewhere new to stay. One of the deciding factors will be transportation. Is there direct route transportation from All Star Music Resort to the parks?

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Melissa! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Making a decision on which Walt Disney World Resort hotel to stay in during your vacation really is a hard choice. There are so many things to consider - the location, the pools, dining choices, and as you mentioned, transportation options. This is actually high on my list when deciding on a resort. My daughters (okay, I actually mean "I") get antsy during the ride over to the parks since they are so excited to get their magical day underway. Thankfully, all of the resorts are in close vicinity to the theme parks, so the rides via Disney bus service are usually not too lengthy.

Melissa, there are several instances where Walt Disney World Resort hotels share bus service. The All-Star Resorts do usually share buses. Usually, the order in which they pick up passengers are All-Star Sports Resort, All-Star Music Resort, and then All-Star Movies Resort. This is not always the case and guests at each of these resorts may find themselves on a bus headed straight to the theme parks. However, if you choose to stay at All-Star Music Resort, then you are more than likely going to head to another resort first before starting your day.

Disney's Pop Century Resort and Disney's Art of Animation Resort are two Value Resorts that usually have dedicated, direct buses to the theme parks. If you are considering any of the Moderate Resorts, they usually do not share buses with other resorts but they make multiple stops within the resort. The exception here is Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, which only has one bus stop and every once in a while, it may pick up guests at its sister resort, Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside.

I hope this information helps you narrow down your resort choice! Please let us know if we can assist you further with your decision.
