We are planning a trip for eight of us for the fall. Do you know when they announce specials for October or November and if they have a free dining plan special for that time?

    Hi Kelly,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! With the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival and Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, fall is a wonderful time to visit! Plus, by thinking about your trip now, you'll have the best availability with dining reservations, room selection, and discounts. I'm so excited for you!

While we can never know for sure what discounts will be offered until they are actually released, I'd definitely encourage you to keep an eye on the Special Offers page. I can tell you that last year, there were some room discount offers for the early fall (through the first week of October) that were released in mid to late April. At that same time they also released the free dining offer good from mid-August until shortly before Christmas, but it was blacked out for most of October and November. In mid-July they announced some room discounts for fall weekdays and in mid-August they offered even larger room discounts for Annual Passholders for the fall.

Did you know that you are able to book now and add a special offer to your reservation later if one becomes available? Having a resort room booked in advance will allow you to make dining reservations 180 days before your arrival for the entire length of your stay, up to 10 days. That would give you the best chance of getting an advanced dining reservation for some of the most popular restaurants.

Sending some pixie dust for the perfect special offer for your vacation, Kelly! Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you, and have a truly magical time with your loved ones this fall!
