Hi Kristy,
A spring visit to Walt Disney World offers lots to enjoy and wonderfully pleasant weather to take it all in. Walt Disney World will be a popular destination for those Disney fans on Easter recess from primary and secondary schools. It’s helps a bit, crowd-wise, that the majority of college Spring Breaks will have wrapped up in March.
I visited Magic Kingdom Park on Easter Sunday a few years ago. I’ve also visited Magic Kingdom Park on Christmas Day and on New Year’s Eve. In my experience, Magic Kingdom Park was bustling on Easter Sunday, but not crazy-big-big-crowd busy as it was at Christmas and New Year's Eve.
There are some practical steps you can take, planning-wise, for a visit during really popular seasons. First, take full advantage of
FastPass+ to make your selections for your favorite attractions and experiences. Second, plan to stay at one of the select Walt Disney Resort hotels to take full advantage of the
Extra Magic Hours to experience the parks before and after normal operating hours. Third, go with the
Park Hopper Option for theme park tickets to get same-day admission to all 4 theme parks so you can adjust your park stays as you want.
Kristy, you’ll be visiting during the
Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival — one of my favorite festivals. Don't miss the fun
Egg-stravaganza scavenger hunt.
Enjoy your Disney!
Jerry
