    Jamie from MS Asked

We are planning a trip for Easter of 2017, and the week after. Are there any egg hunts planned? Are there any type of church services we could attend? Thanks!

    Hi Jamie,

Easter is definitely celebrated at Disney!  Last year, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa had gorgeous chocolate Easter eggs on display in the lobby, while Disney's Contemporary Resort held it's annual Easter Egg Parade at Chef Mickey's.  The Disney Parks Blog had a great article on the events along with pictures.

Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny are at Magic Kingdom and ready to meet & greet their Guests that day, and although it hasn't officially been announced for 2017, Epcot had a fun Easter egg hunt!  Guests searched for hidden Disney themed eggs throughout the park.  My family and I did the hunt too, we had a great time!

Walt Disney World does celebrate Easter with religious services; last year the services were held at Disney's Contemporary Resort.  Many of the resorts plan activities so please make sure to check and see what is offered when you're there.

It's a beautiful time of year at Disney.  I hope you get the chance to visit.  Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel. Have a magical day!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
