Planning a trip to DLR in Sep to celebrate my 40th b-day. Wondering if the food carts (Churros!) take Disney gift cards or Visa gift cards? It was wonderful at WDW for the girls to control their own snack funds and I would like to do that again.

    Hi there Amy,

Let me start by wishing you an early Happy Birthday!  I can't think of a better way to celebrate than with a trip to The Happiest Place on Earth.

Most permanent food carts will accept both Disney Gift Cards and Visa Gift Cards provided that they are equipped with a credit card machine.  Another option would be to allow your girls to charge to their Key to the Magic Card (if staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel).  The front desk can set a daily spending limit for you!

Disney Dollars are also a fun way to give your girls a budget in the parks.  1 Disney Dollar is equal to 1 US Dollar and this fun and collectible currency can be purchased dollar for dollar at Town Hall in Disneyland Park!  Disney Dollars may be used the same as cash pretty much everywhere on property!

    Best Wishes,
