I am planning on a trip to Disneyworld in October 2015! I know, I am an EAGER planner! lol Do you know if all resorts and dates will have the magic bands by then? It looks like they are just being tested right now?? Thanks

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Rachel ~

I love that you are already planning for October 2015!! Planning helps calm my excitement level just a wee bit before my trips.

I have great news for you! All of the Disney World Resort Hotels are now using MagicBands. Guests who do not want a MagicBand can request a card instead.

MagicBands streamline so many things including using it as your hotel key, FastPass+ (FP+) selections, theme park tickets, and charging purchases during your hotel stay. They really make traveling to the parks a breeze.

If you are staying at a Disney World resort hotel and link your theme park tickets to your My Disney Experience Account, you will be eligible to make your FP+ selections about 60 days prior to your trip. You will also be able to customize your MagicBands which will be shipped to you at home. It is super exciting when that little Incredibles box arrives.

Please feel free to visit us again with all of your planning questions. We are hEAR for you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
