    Darla from AR Asked

We are planning a trip to disneyworld for our 30th anniv. & want to stay at WL. Where should we request to stay close to buses but maybe get a glimse of the fireworks at MK? Also can you make resvations 499 days in advance is that true? Thanks

    Hi Darla,

My family have just returned from a fantastic 7-night stay at Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort and we absolutely loved this beautiful Deluxe Resort hotel!

There are 3 room views available. The Standard View generally faces the parking lot or driveway and sometimes the roof; the Woods View faces the woods towards the MK (no view of MK-maybe a glimpse of a monorail) on one side and the Wilderness Lodge Villas on the other side; the Courtyard View looks out over one of the pools or Bay Lake. Some guests report the upper floors do enable you to see the MK fireworks although since the trees have grown, these views have become very limited.

You would have much of a walk to the bus stop from any room in the main building.

We stayed in room 6041 which had a gorgeous view overlooking the pool and Seven Seas Lagoon. Although we couldn't see any of the fireworks from the Magic Kingdom Theme Park, we could hear them and were able to watch the Electrical Water Pageant from our room every evening.

Room-only reservations can be booked up to 499 days in advance. Full pricing for vacation packages aren't normally released until about mid-summer for the following year.

Wishing you a magical trip filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
