Mom and Daughter at Live Show

    Linda from CO Asked

We're planning a trip to Disneyland in September (10th to 14th), and I am seeing that many of the shows (and even the fireworks) will not be on at all. Where can I find current info on what exactly will be open (specifically shows)? Thanks!

From one Linda in Colorado to another, a big, happy hello to you! It is always so fun to help my fellow Coloradans plan trips to the Disneyland Resort, but it's extra special to get to assist another Linda!

The entertainment schedule is typically populated about 30 to 45 days in advance, with some show times (like those for Frozen - Live at the Hyperion) not being final until a few weeks prior. So, fear not, I am certain that there will be plenty of entertainment to enjoy during your trip. In fact, I can tell you that the magnificent Paint the Night Parade and the super fun Pixar Play Parade have both been extended past their original closing date of September 3rd. Simply check the entertainment schedule again over the next few days and weeks to see exact times start to fill in.

Your trip also happens to take place during the beginning of Halloween Time! This means you will get to enjoy beautiful fall decor throughout both parks, spooky overlays on attractions like Haunted Mansion Holiday and Guardians of the Galaxy - Monsters After Dark, and lots of devilishly delicious treats made just for the season. You will also notice some of your favorite characters dressed up in their Halloween costumes which I find to be down right adorable.

I hope this information was helpful. If you have any other questions about your visit, please don't hesitate to visit us again!
