Hi! We are planning a trip to Disneyland in July 2018. What the must try restaurants and shows we have to catch? We will be celebrating our son's ninth birthday day. Any fun activities we can include in his special day Thanks!

    Hi Cindy,
I'm very excited to know you'll be visiting the Disneyland Resort and celebrating your son's 9th birthday!
July is a very fun time to visit because school is out and kids are happy!
As far as must-try restaurants, I have a few but here are my favorites:
At the Disneyland Park: The Blue Bayou. This is the restaurant guests can see from the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction. It's especially fun if you time it so that you get on the ride and arrive at your table reservation soon after! If you purchase a Fantasmic! Dining Package for the Blue Bayou, you'll get a voucher for a preferred viewing area for the nighttime attraction after enjoying a most savory meal!
At Disney California Adventure: Carthay Circle. This restaurant has all the elements of Hollywood glamour from a bygone era. The menu is fantastic and with a World of Color dining package you'll get the same advantage as with the Fantasmic! Dining package– preferred viewing area vouchers!
To make your son's birthday extra special, you can pre-order a custom cake and have it delivered to your table service restaurant.
A few other birthday recommendations– make sure you sign him up for Jedi Training– Trials of the Temple if he's a Star Wars fan! He will train to defeat the Dark Side!
Also, consider purchasing MaxPass in order to make your FASTPASS reservations from the Disneyland Mobile App.
And last but not least, make it a priority to visit Mickey's House for a private photo session with Mickey. You'll be able to capture a memorable birthday moment you will cherish for a long time!
    Have a Magical time!
