I am planning a 1st trip to Disney for my 10, 9, and 5 year old grandchildren. I am a teacher so it hard to get time away except for Summer. I was wondering if last week of May/first week of June is a busy time for the Parks? We would like to avoid crowds.

Welcome back Tracey! Thanks for stopping by with your questions.
Summer is not my favorite time of the year to visit the Walt Disney World Resort, when parks tend to be very busy. But, for those who are looking for beautiful warm and sunny days and many special events and activities, this is the best time of the year.
Usually, Disney Theme Parks tend to get very busy by late June, July and early August, so I believe you won’t have parks too crowded in May. When I am planning my own Disney vacation, I like to visit easywdw.com for checking their crowd calendars. They provide good information, including best day to visit each park and weather conditions. It helps me a lot.
I also suggest you make your FastPass+ selections and dining reservations in advance to save time in lines if the parks get very busy.
Hope this helps your planning. Don’t hesitate to come back if you have further questions.
    Have a wonderful day!
