We're planning our trip to Disney World two weeks after our daughter turns 3! Will she require a ticket to get into the parks? We're planning on visiting all four theme parks for her birthday. Appreciate your help!

    Hi Kari,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It is never too late to celebrate a birthday at the Walt Disney World Resort! And at 3-years old, her excitement will be contagious.

Yes, all children 3-years old and over require a valid theme park ticket. The good news is that ticket prices typically decrease in price for multiple days. I am delighted that you are planning to visit all four theme parks because she will adore the attractions and characters at each.

Your first priority now is to purchase those theme park tickets so that you can make Fast Pass+ selections. With valid theme park tickets, you can make Fast Pass+ selections 30 days prior to your trip. These selections allow you to reserve a ride time window for up to three rides per day at one park. Once you have used those first three Fast Pass+ selections or the time windows have expired, you can use the My Disney Experience Mobile App to reserve an additional Fast Pass+. If you are also staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you can make your Fast Pass+ selections 60 days in advance.

Kari, if you have not done so already, create a My Disney Experience Account so that you can link your theme park tickets to that account and then start making your Fast Pass+ selections! When my girls were younger, they loved The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Astro Orbiter, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, the Magic Carpets of Aladdin and Mad Tea Party. Just check the height requirements on the Attractions list. Be sure to also make reservations for at least one character meal!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
