Disney's Magical Express

I am planning a trip to Disney World for spring 2020 and would like to stay at pop century. I am deathly afraid of dogs and wanted to what the dog policy is for Disney’s Magical Express and the pop century resort.

Hello there, Danielle! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you stopping back by and allowing us to help you plan another wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

Disney’s Pop Century Resort is a whimsical resort that captures all the latest and greatest fads from the 1950s all the way to the 1990s! Guests will be placed right into these eras by staying in buildings that reflect the timeless catchphrases, toys, dances, and other fun fads of each decade!

As you may have heard, Walt Disney World Resort has begun allowing dogs at four select Disney Resort hotels. These include Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, and Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. Guests are still not allowed to bring dogs on the property at Disney’s Pop Century Resort so you should have no problems with running into pets at this Disney Resort hotel!

Due to the changes in policies at select Disney Resort hotels, select motor coaches of Disney’s Magical Express now also allow dogs. However, dogs will only be allowed onto motor coaches that are bound for one of the four dog-friendly Disney Resort hotels. This means that there should not be any canines on your specific Disney’s Magical Express motor coach. However, if you would like, you are always welcome to call Disney’s Magical Express at (407) 939-1936 and expressly request that you are not put on a motor coach bound for one of the previously mentioned resorts.

I hope this information will assist you in having a magical start to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
