We are planning a trip to Disney World during thanksgiving week. How crazy are the crowds ? It will be our first trip during this time of the year as we usually take out vacation during the summer

    Hello Mayra,

Thanks so much for writing!  In my opinion, Thanksgiving is a wonderful time to visit Walt Disney World!  The parks and resorts will be dressed in their Christmas Holiday best, making it extra magical in my opinion.  As you can imagine, with many children out of school for at least part of the week, this is a popular time to visit, so you can definitely expect some crowds.  In addition, many schools here in Florida are out for the entire week, so you will find some locals enjoying time with their families as well.  That being said, earlier in the week (Monday and Tuesday) tend to be less crowded in my experience.  I highly recommend making dining reservations and FastPass+ selections as quickly as possible to ensure that you can enjoy all of the experiences most important to your family.  The The Disney Parks Blog wrote an article about great dining venues for the holidays a while back and I think has some wonderful ideas.  You might want to check it out!

    Have a wonderful visit!
