Planning a trip for 10 to Disney World for 2 or 3 days in July. We have a place to stay but was wondering if it would be beneficial for me to book the camp site for two or three nights and receive the benefits. Finding websites overwhelming. Help please.

    Hi Cyndy!

When you are planning for a larger group no matter where you are heading it can be overwhelming trying to make everyone happy and pleased with the plans. Walt Disney World appreciates this issue and tries to make it as easy as possible for the planners of a group of family or friends.

I am not sure what you are asking specifically about the camp sites. You are more then welcome to reserve a site at the Fort Wilderness Campground Resort. When you are a guest at this resort you get the same benefits as someone who is staying at any other resort on property such as the Grand Floridian or Caribbean Beach. Your accommodations are a bit different as they will be an RV or a tent. It is not recommended or encouraged that anyone book a site and not use it since these sites are hard to come by and many guests are waiting to find openings for them to come for their own vacation.

The important thing when planning for your group is to make sure they all have My Disney Experience accounts and they all link to you as family and friends. That way you can make the dining and more important the FastPasses so the entire group will be enjoying the attractions together or at least about the same time. Once you have done this mark your calendar for the date when you can make the FAstPass selections and be ready. In the meantime also make sure you get some dining reserved. If you can’t do it on line simply call as with a larger party it is often easier to go through the cast member on the phone then trying to do it on line.
