we are planning a trip to disney, but we are unsure when to go. our daughter is 3months old, and we would like to avoid the florida summer heat. we are looking to travel between may-oct.

    Hi Jessica,

To avoid the heat and even worse, the humidity, I would opt for October. The Florida sunshine really begins to heat up in May and lasts all through September. When you add in the humidity, June through September can be stifling. The average daily high in May is already 88!

You'll want to think about rain totals too. In May, afternoon t-storms are common and over the summer months rainfall totals each month can reach 7 inches. In October, you'll have a considerably less chance of rain!

Also, you'll have much lower crowds in October which is beneficial especially when traveling with a small child.

Let us know if we can help any further!
