Indiana Jones Stunt Show

We are planning a trip to Disney in Sept 2019. I know the crowds will be nuts in Hollywood Studio, with the launch of Star Wars. If I had FP for the Frozen Sing-Along at 2:30, would I be able to make a dash to Indy's Stunts at 3:15 with another FP?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Mary!

I am eagerly awaiting my visit to Batuu when Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens at Disney’s Hollywood Studios this August. I’ve got my datapad ready, my taste buds are primed for some blue milk, and I can’t wait to “punch it” on the Millennium Falcon! I’m so happy to hear you’re carefully making your plans for your visit to Disney’s Hollywood Studios this September, as it’s sure to be a very popular place.

For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration is one of my family’s can’t-miss attractions at Walt Disney World Resort. We love it so much, we usually see it at least twice per visit. I just can’t “let it go” – I love seeing the pure joy as the audience sings along with Frozen’s iconic songs, and the way the parents look at their kiddos while they sing their hearts out is pure Disney magic. Plus, the show is hilarious.

Mary, while the show runs approximately 30 minutes, it does take some time to exit the theater, depending on where you’re sitting. Once out of the theater, you’re just heading across the way to the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular!, so I think your plan is probably doable, although if traffic patterns change or crowds are very high, there’s a possibility you’re cutting it too close.

Here’s the main concern: generally, FastPass+ time windows are one hour long, so you may not be able to make one at 2:30 and another at 3:15 – My Disney Experience will likely tell you that you already have a FastPass+ at that time. My advice is to choose the next available Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular! showtime for your FastPass+. You can always attempt to attend the 3:15 show using the standby queue, and if you get in, use the My Disney Experience mobile app to modify the later time to another FastPass+ selection, pending availability.

I hope you love both shows! On one of our first family vacations, I was selected to be an “extra” in the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular! and it was such a fun experience (minus the fact that my son was terrified the whole time I was in the show). I truly believe that shows are some of the best experiences at Walt Disney World – there are such talented performers, the production values are fantastic, and there's something special about seeing beloved stories come alive.

One last tip, Mary: be sure to read the Disney Parks Blog as you do your planning and Disney dreaming. There have been so many amazing announcements about new experiences, tasty treats, and great planning tips published lately, and reading the Disney Parks Blog really helps me get excited about all the magic in store for us!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
