We are planning our trip to disney in the next couple weeks. We want to see Frozen Live at the Hyperion in DCA. Do you need tickets or a fast pass to see this show? And how far in advance do we need to line up?

    Welcome, Whitney!

How exciting for your family that it's almost time to venture south to the Disneyland Resort for a magical vacation! There is so much to see at both parks, you are truly in for some really special memories in the making!

I'm glad you're already checking out all of the exciting attractions available in both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. Having a plan ready will help you to really experience the most magic possible. Frozen Live is such a stunning show. I'd pay for tickets to see it if it played in our town, so to have it included in our park day at Disney California Adventure is such a treat! You will want to arrive early to line up as there are no FastPasses for this one hour show. The wait can be different each time, but I like to arrive as early as possible to ensure my family gets into the showtime we'd like, and I love to get seats in the Mezzanine as my first choice. You can choose as you line up which section of the theatre you'd like. Also, I usually plan it around a meal or snack. We'll grab a to-go meal or snack and then line up about an hour or so prior to the show. Even with the kids, an hour goes by quickly when we use it as our meal time. The kids will even sit down in line and eat and chat and enjoy the time while we wait. The theatre opens up well before showtime, so before we know it, we're finding seats and the show begins!

I hope that helps as you get ready for this magical adventure, Whitney! Enjoy the spectacular Frozen show! Oh, and just wait until you see Sven! He's my favorite and it's oh so cool (get it, cool?) how they've incorporated him into this show of Frozen Live!

    Have an amazing time!
