Hello. We are planning a trip to Disney for March of 2014. can you possibly tell me if this is typically a busy month? and if so, what dates would be best to avoid LARGE crowds. I know Easter is the 31st, so we are looking at the beginning of the month

    Hi Sara!

Congratulations on your upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World!  March is a great time to visit, especially with the mild temperatures that make touring the parks much more comfortable. March can be a particularly busy month at Walt Disney World, especially later in the month and the weeks that are surrounding Easter as many schools and universities will be on Spring Break during this time period.  I would suggest visiting as early in March as possible to avoid the larger Spring Break crowds or if at all possible, visiting the first week of April.

Easter is on April 20th in 2014 and with the holiday falling a little later this year, the first week in April will also have lower crowd levels that makes touring the parks a breeze!  If I had to choose I would visit the first week of April since many Spring Breakers have gone back to school and with Easter a few weeks away, it's a great time to visit if you are looking for lower crowd levels.  No matter which date you choose, be sure to check out Epcot's Flower and Garden festival which has experiences for the entire family or to just admire the amazing gardens.

I hope this was helpful and please let me know if you have anymore questions!

    Happy Planning!
