Planning a trip to Disney in June! We haven't told our kids (11 and 6) and are trying to make it a surprise. Any ideas on the best way to tell them on the day of arrival? So excited!!!

You have plenty of reasons to be excited, Brandi, and so will your kiddos once you fill them in!  We surprised my girls with their first trip to Disney World many years ago.  Mine was a simple announcement; they woke up to stuffed Mickey's holding a welcome letter.  But, I have the coolest book (The Complete Walt Disney World 2011) that offers up some truly creative ways to spill the beans.  Here are just a couple of suggestions from the pages of the book:

Homemade jigsaw puzzle - create a puzzle that, when assembled, announces "We're going to Disney World!"  I believe you can even order custom puzzles from a variety of online photo sites.

Scavenger hunt -  create clue cards that use quotes from Disney movies and send your kids on a hunt for the big finale.  The book suggest attaching the final clue to a helium balloon that you tuck into a new suitcase.  When the suitcase is opened, the balloon will "pop" out with the big announcement!

You might want to check out the book for more ideas, though I'm sure your kids are going to be ecstatic no matter how you tell them!  Make magical memories!
