We are planning a trip to Disney in June 2015. We are deciding between dining plans. If we went with the Disney Dining plan that offers both quick service and table service, can table service meals be used for quick service if we would have extra?

    Hello Michelle,
Thanks so much for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I especially love questions about dining at the Walt Disney World Resort because often times I actually plan our trips around where we will eat! There are a number of different Disney Dining Plans which you can read about here. If you select a Dining Plan that includes Table Service entitlements, they are intended to be used only for Table Service meals. However, I have heard from friends that have had some luck using a Table Service entitlement for a Quick Service meal, but I wouldn't rely on that.

With that said, I still highly recommend the Standard Dining Plan which includes one snack, Quick Service meal, and Table Service meal for each night of your stay. You can mix and match these entitlements. For example, one day you may have two Quick Service meals and the next day two Table Service meals. This allows for a lot of flexibility when planning your meals. We almost always add the Standard Dining Plan and we have never had to "lose" a Table Service entitlement due to non-use. I also suggest obtaining reservations for as many of your Table Service meals as possible. Some of the most popular dining venues fill up pretty quickly.

If you have more questions, come on back- we love to help!

    See ya real soon!
