Hello! I am planning a trip to Disney to celebrate my birthday. What kind of things can be done to celebrate this event?

    Hi, Lauren!

Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel, and a very Happy Birthday to you from all of us!

Planning a special day in Walt Disney World is so much fun, so let's gather some extra pixie dust for you!

First, check out this great list: Customize Your Special Occasion. There, you'll see complimentary celebration recognition buttons which are available at Guest Relations in any park, and Disney Springs and at the check-in desk of Walt Disney World Resort hotels. Cast Members and guests alike will wish you a very happy birthday throughout your stay.

Folks love donning a Happy Birthday Ear Hat, too, which is available at many merchandise locations throughout the parks.

Next, dine at Chef Mickey's, where birthdays are extra special, or at another table-service restaurant that features a favorite. Add a birthday cake to the celebration by calling (407) 827-2253 at least 72 business hours in advance. So fun!

If you're up for a monumental adventure, book a tour such as Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park's Wild Africa Trek. You'll spend 3 hours touring areas off-limits to most guests and will receive professional photos of your adventure!

Finally, purchase Memory Maker so all of your special moments are captured in photos. You'll smile for years to come each time you look at them!

Send more questions as you think of them, Lauren! We love to help!
