We are planning a trip to Disney in August for my son's birthday. When we were there in Dec. 2007, I saw a cast member delivering balloons for a birthday and he said you had to ask for the balloons. My question is is there a charge for the balloons?

If someone in your party is celebrating a birthday at Walt Disney World, you should definitely tell the front desk of your hotel. While this is not guaranteed, often the hotel will drop a free card or small balloon bouquet in your room. If you want to make sure that your birthday boy has something special waiting in the room on his birthday, you could arrange for a special gift basket on your own. Disney Florist and Gift Basket at www.disneyflorist.com will be happy to help you.
