When planning the trip w/ the dining package, what's best way to plan when u make reservations? We r afraid to make reservations & end up in the wrong spot at the time of the scheduled reservation. What is the benefit of reservation besides waiting t

    Hi Dereka,

I always find that the best plan of attack is to firstly decide which parks you will be visiting during each day of your visit and to compile a list of restaurants that you would like to eat at during your visit.

Once you have this information, I would then make advanced dining reservations for any restaurants which are located within the parks themselves during days which you plan to be there.

If there are any restaurants which you wish to attend that are situated at the Disney resorts, I would try to schedule them for days when you will be visiting the park closest to them to cut down on time spent travelling.

For example, if you wanted to eat at Chef Mickeys, I would make a dining reservation for a day that you were planning to visit the Magic Kingdom and likewise, if you wanted to eat at Boma, I would make a dining reservation for a day that you were planning to visit Disney's Animal Kingdom and so on.

You will find that things will start to take shape quite quickly using this method and that you will only be left with a couple of meals to fit in on days where nothing has been booked already.

If you do not make any advanced dining reservations, there is no guarantee that you will be able to eat at any of your desired locations. Many of the popular locations including character meals do get fully booked up well in advance.

    Wishing you a magical trip!
