Mom And Son On Run

Hello! We are planning a trip Dec 31st - Jan 6th. I have seen several ads on Craigslist with Disney Park Tickets for sale at discounted prices. Is there anyway to be sure that these tickets will work prior to getting to the gate?

    NO!!!

And in case my bold, all caps, italic, underlined, and three exclamation points didn't make it clear enough, let me say again - definitely not. Run far away from those tickets. It breaks my heart to see families lose very large sums of money on these scams, but sadly it happens every day. For one thing, WDW tickets are made so that they can only be used by the same person. Very often resellers try to sell you tickets that have already been used, and you have absolutely no way of knowing if you have been had until you reach the gate.

Disney tickets should really only be purchased from WDW, or from a known reputable seller (like AAA or Maple Leaf Tickets). If you see tickets that are greatly discounted, steer clear. I know that savings is appealing, but it will only end up costing you dearly when the tickets turn out to be fakes. The truth is, Disney park tickets are very rarely discounted at all, and when they are, say at the two places I mentioned above, that discount is only very small. Advertisements for discounted Disney tickets should send up red flags in your mind.

There are many ways to save money on a Disney vacation, and we would be happy to help you find them, but park tickets just isn't one of them.
