    Charles from VA Asked

I am planning a trip for my daughters high school graduation gift this coming June- we are so excited and this will be our first time using the magic bands. My question is do we customize using our name or can we use nicknames?

    Hi, Charles!

A trip to Walt Disney World is a wonderfully magical way to celebrate your daughter’s high school graduation! My family last visited the resort in September and we had a great time customizing and using our MagicBands. Once you arrive, there are all kinds of fun accessories you can purchase to express your personal style!

You may use your legal names or nicknames for the bands as long as each one stays within the nine-character limit, including spaces and special characters.

I hope this helps, Charles, and that your family has a blast celebrating your daughter’s big accomplishment. Please write back with any other questions you may have as your pixie-dusted planning continues!

    Wishing you magic,
