    Planning 1st trip with my daughters ages 8 & 6. Would love advice on where to stay and main attractions to see. Planning on a 6 day visit. Would love mild to warm weather with short waiting times. What add-ons are recommended.

    Carol,

    Well you found the right place for advice!

    Lets start with when to travel. Obviously going when school is out of session means larger crowds, where visiting when school is in session means lighter ones. My advice is that you visit in the October or September time frame, if you can. You might also consider May. But if school schedules do not permit this, then I thing you should shoot for as late in August as you can get.

    Next, where to stay. There are so many choices, but here are my top suggestions for you, by category;

    • Deluxe: Yacht Club or Grand Floridian
    • Moderate: Port Orleans Riverside
    • Value: Pop Century
    As for add-ons, it really depends. For your girls I would suggest;

    • No on the "No Expiration" option.
    • Yes on the Park Hopper option, as I think that you probably will find it to be worth the extra cost.
    • No for the Water Park Fun and more, as I think pre-tweens find their resort pool to be enough.
    Those are some pretty quick answers. Write me back with more information and I will be glad to offer some more ideas!

    Have a magical vacation!
