I am planning a trip consisting of 5 YO, 6 YO and 6 month old all girls. They love princess thought we'd do Magic Kingdom. Is two days at the park realistic? Maybe squeezing some animal kingdom in half a day? Don't want to be overwhelmed.

    Hi Kayla:

Magic Kingdom is a wonderful park for princesses, especially if you can get a character dining reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table.  While only a portion of the many Magic Kingdom attractions your family may enjoy, our family always enjoys it's a small world, Jungle Cruise, Mickey's PhilharMagic, Peter Pan's Flight, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Pirate's of the Caribbean, Tomorrowland Transit Authority People Mover, Haunted Mansion, and Monster's, Inc. Laugh Floor.

The Park is big enough for it to be a "two-day" park so on your second day, you can ride attractions you may have missed your first day or re-ride your favorites. If you find that you've seen enough of the park and want to try a half day at Animal Kingdom, you can.  Just make sure you have a the Park Hopper option on your ticket so you can enter and leave more than one theme park per day.  For my family, especially when my boys were younger (and even now that they are 8 and 7), we find "Park Hopping" too time consuming to be worth it.  So if you don't want to be overwhelmed, my best advice is to give yourself two days at Magic Kingdom.  That way you can take your time through the park and not feel that you "missed" anything if you didn't make the experience on the first day.

    Enjoy your vacation.
